One of the presents that I got for Christmas was a DVD with a nasty old witch and a lion but there isn't any wardrobe and it isn't even Narnia because actually it's We're off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of OZ.I hadn't seen the film before, but I knew some of the songs, and my Daddy looked after me when the nasty witch came on.
Today, as a special surprise, my Daddy took me to the Philharmonic Hall to see the film there, and the orchestra was actually playing the music for real while the film was on. It was really amazing and you could still sing along as well.
Before the film started there was a fancy dress contest to dress up as one of the characters in the film so I dressed up as Glinda who is the good witch. I didn't win, but I did get a prize which was some sweeties.
