Elinor's Christening and the Hope St Festival

Today we went to Elinor's Christening, and my Mummy bought me a lovely lovely new outfit with a hat to wear so I looked gorgeous. Mummy looked gorgeous in her dress as well and Daddy and all the ladies said so.

Elinor is a baby and Mark and V are her Mummy and Daddy. She was getting christened in the catholic Cathedral, which is called Paddy's Wigwam, and I wanted to run down the big stone steps outside but Daddy chased me and grabbed me and then he had to get a taxi home because he had a big hole in his trousers and he missed the christening.

Baby Elinor has a big brother called James and two big sisters called Beth and Emily who are twins, which means that they look the same except that they don't. After the christening Daddy came back with new trousers and we all went to a party where I played with the other kiddies.

On the way to the christening we went along Hope St and there was a market on selling lots of food. There was also a lot of other funny stalls, but they weren't open then. After the party we went back to Elinor's house and the market was all closing so we still didn't get to see them.

There have been lots of Superlambananas around town and there was still one left so I sat on it and Daddy gave me a cuddle and Mummy gave me a kiss.

When we got back to Elinor's house we went in the garden and there was a lovely lovely toad under a log. We had to wet our hands so we didn't hurt it when we picked it up but I didn't want to pick it up anyway. There was also some newts, and I did hold one of them.
