Red Arrows

I'm starting to wonder if Mummy is coming back...

Today my Daddy took me to see our friends George and Karen and my big boy Calum. We also saw the Red Arrows which is some men who fly planes and are very clever. It was very good, but it started to rain really hard and we had to go back to the house.

Blue Planet

Where on earth is my Mummy!?!?

Today I went to the park with my Daddy and the dogs, and then after lunch my Daddy took me somewhere very, very special for a surprise.

It was somewhere I have never been before and it is called Blue Planet, which is an aquarium where fishes live.

There were lots of brilliant fishes there and also some frogs and things.

Daddy said there was a bit where we could walk under the water in a see-through tube, but he said there were sharks so I was too scared to go in.

Daddy said it was alright and he would look after me so I let him carry me in a little bit... and it was totally brilliant!

The sharks were very scary and they came really close, but it's OK because they can't get you, so it's really good fun.

I coloured a picture of a shark as well, because actually they are quite nice, and I got a cuddly stingray to take home.

Blue Planet is one of my favourite places, and I hope I can go there again soon.

Hanging in the Tate

My Mummy STILL isn't back so today my Daddy and I went to the park with the dogs and then had lunch in the Deli.

In the afternoon we went to a place called 'town' and we went to the Tate, which is an art gallery. They asked me to choose some colours, so I chose purple and then we had to find something which was purple and draw it 3 times. Then I had to paint it, but first I had to do lots and lots of mixing paints.Mostly when you mix paints you get brown, but blue and red makes purple as well. When it was finished they put it up on the wall.

Afterwards we went to a place where there was supposed to be some music but there wasn't any so I went on a roundabout and I was in Cinderella's coach.

Sefton Park

My Mummy is still away, so today my Daddy took me to the park after nursery - but it wasn't Calderstones Park by where we live, it was called Sefton Park, and there is a playground there.

There is a big tower in the playground and I climbed all the way up it. There is also a brilliant big swing which lots of kiddies can go on together and it goes round and round. There were some other nice kiddies there and we all went on the big swing together and my Daddy and one of their Daddies pushed us. It was really good fun, and afterwards I had an ice cream in the cafe.

Going on the Big Slide

My Mummy has gone away for a few days, so my Daddy is looking after me. Tonight after nursery he took me swimming to a place called Garston. There is a big, big yellow slide there and I was going to go down it on my Daddy's lap but they said no-one is allowed to go down together. I was very sad and I cried, but the lady still wouldn't let me so I had to go back down the steps, but then I decided to be brave and I went back up and did it on my own.

And do you know what? It was totally brilliant! I went down it again and again and again until they closed it. And then I played with my Daddy until they closed the pool so the fat ladies could do their exercises. I love swimming!

There was a party at our Davva's today and everyone was there - Sister and Bryan and Zaky Boy; Gel and Terry and Lola Angel; Jenny and Phil; Ben and Lynne; and lots of other people and kiddies to play with. It was great!

Gormley

Apparently there is a man called Anthony Gormley who is also an artist like me, and he made lots of little creatures looking at you - also like me... except his weren't pink and actually they also weren't made of play-doh.

Knowsley Flower Show

Today we went to the Knowsley Flower Show, which was really good except I didn't see any flowers. Sister and Bryan and Zaky Boy were there as well.

There was a fair which was specially for little kids like Zak, and also for big girls like me, and we went on a roundabout which was good fun.

There was also a lovely show with lots of puppies and some of them were very brave because they jumped through hoops which were on fire.

My First Art Exhibition

You may remember that last week I went to Drama which wasn't really drama, but was playing games and making things.

Today we went back to the same place, because it was fun, but everyone was standing outside and the doors were closed, because it wasn't open. No-one knows why.

Mummy and Daddy took me into town instead, but when we got there the other place for drama was closed as well, and no-one knows why.

We walked down the hill and my Mummy wanted to do some shopping, but it was boring so my Daddy took me to a place called FACT to see my first 'art exhibition'. It was brilliant!

It was by a man called Bernie Lubel, and he makes really mad machines that you can play with.

There was a big one that you could pedal with your Daddy, and it turned lots of wheels. If someone else was wobbling the couch in the cafe it wove some string into a big net, which was really clever, and Daddy and I made some.

There was another one where you had to sit on a seat and wobble it and it made some balls move and some pencils draw on some paper. When your Daddy pedalled another bit of the paper moved as well.

There was also one where you turned a handle and it banged a drum like a heart beating, and one where you wound a thing all the way up the wall and then you could let it go again.

There was another wobbly chair where you could put a sort of hat on and it squeezed your face when you wobbled which was very funny.

When Mummy finished shopping she came to see as well, and I showed her all the machines, including one which was a big box and you could wind yourself in and out. I wound myself all the way in and all the way out again because I'm very brave.

You could make flappy birds as well, and we made one. There were lots of others that everyone had made which were hanging up in the foyer.

Paddling and Swimming

Today we drove a long, long way up to the Lake District so that Mummy could go for a paddle with the other ladies. Daddy and I were going to go for a swim in the pool at the hotel, but the lady wouldn't let us in because we weren't staying at the hotel.

Luckily my Daddy had seen another swimming pool on the way and so we went there and they let us in. They had rings and balls and floats to play with, so it was even better really.

After lunch Mummy went out in the dragonboat again, so Daddy and I went to the adventure playground and I climbed on everything and went down all the slides and had a brilliant time.

What was also really brilliant was that I saw our friends like Sue and Peter and Jane, and we even went back to their house on the way home.

A Busy Saturday

Today was a very busy Saturday.

My ballet class isn't on any more because it's summer now, so today I went to drama class. Drama is dressing up and playing pretending games, but it wasn't really a drama class because it's summer. It was a playing games and making things class.

It was fun and I hope I can go again.

Afterwards we had to hurry to go straight to Maisy's party, because she is a really big 5 now. It was a lovely party and James was there too.

There was a man playing music and doing games and I won a big balloon for being a brilliant dancer.

There was also some bouncy castles and cars and lovely food. Afterwards I went back to Maisy's house with her cousins and James and we played on the trampoline and there was a peñata which is a donkey you can hit, which is really good fun because it's only pretend and the donkey is full of sweets.

The last time there was a peñata was 5 months ago when my lovely Jenny had a party because she was going to somewhere called South America.

Now she is back and tonight we had another party because we are all very happy to see her again.

We went to the Sekander and Davva and Phil and Ben and Lynne were all there as well, which was lovely because I haven't seen Ben and Lynne since he went to see someone called 'Simple Minds' with my Mummy and she played with me until they came back because Daddy was in Cologne.

Jenny said she had a really brilliant time but she was pleased to come home to her lovely cake.
