My New Belt

Tonight I went to Family Martial Arts with my Mummy and Daddy. There was a big panda at the door but it was only a person dressed up as a panda really - I loved the panda and I gave them a hug. Then some kiddies who are called Gold Stars did some dancing and martial arts and they were brilliant - especially my Blaise and Honey from next door. After that they presented me and the other kiddies with our new belts and mine is white with a yellow stripe down the middle. It is lovely and it says that I am a star. Daddy took some video of it, but he can't put it on here yet. He will do that later.

After that we had to rush back to our house because Katie from Rompers and her friend Claire were coming round to look after me while Mummy and Daddy went into town for a meeting with someone called Paco Pena and the Sense of Sound Choir.

My First Grading

I have been trying very hard at Martial Arts and I practiced my magic falls with my Daddy so I am very good at them now. Tonight we had my first grading, and I was a complete star so Master Rolls said that I passed! That means that I will get a new belt which they will give me on Friday.

Bolt - My First Trip to the Pictures

Today Mummy and Daddy and Grandma and I went to the pictures on Allerton Rd which is called the Odeon, but it is closing soon. We went to see a very funny film called Bolt, which is a film about a dog who is called Bolt and he is a superhero - except that he isn't really. He has to get away from the bad guys and save his little girl and he only has a cat to help him and a fat hamster in a ball called Rhino who is very very really funny. It was absolutely very brilliant and I was only frightened a few times and I didn't cry too much. I love the cinema and I can't wait to go back again soon.

Jenny's Going Away Party

Tonight my lovely cousin Jenny had a party because she is about to go to a place called Latin America for 6 months.
Everyone dressed up - mostly with moustaches - and I wore my flamenco dress. Mummy and Sister dressed up like lovely senoritas and Daddy gave everyone bags of Columbian sweeties, which was just sherbert so I don't know why they thought it was funny.

There was a donkey full of sweeties hanging up and we all got to hit it to make them fall out. Zaky as there as well, but he was too little to hit the donkey.

Grandma, Charlotte and Barnaby

On Thursday my Grandma came to visit for the first time since Christmas - it's always so lovely when she comes to see me.

This morning we all went to the park with the puppies, and I took my lovely Dora the Explorer skates with me to show my Grandma what a brilliant skater girl I am.

Daddy was chasing us and Mummy and I hid behind a tree, but there was a hole in the tree and Mummy lifted me into it.

After the park we all went to my ballet class and Charlotte and her Mummy were there. She is my friend, and she is a lovely little ginger like me.

I also got a gorgeous bear called Barnaby from Rompers and I have to look after him for a few days and keep a diary, so I took him to my dance class as well and then he was very hungry so we all went to the Deli for lunch.

Chicken Pox

This week I got chicken pox which is very itchy scratchy and miserable and you can't play with your friends or Baba Zak or even go to Pre-School. Mummy and Daddy got me some medicine and put lots of cream on to stop it from itching, but the cream kept disappearing. It must have worked, though, because it's not all itchy any more, even though the spots are still there. I'm nearly better now: thank goodness, because I had to miss my ballet this week.

Snow!

Amazing! For the first time ever ever ever we have proper snow here in Liverpool. It's brilliant!

After pre-school at King David's Sister and Zaky came round and came to Calderstones Park with Mummy and Daddy and me.

We took my sledge and Daddy pulled us round and round and up and down the hill on it. It was really good fun - we all had a lovely lovely time, and I made some snow angels as well.

Chinese New Year With Paddlers For Life

My Mummy is a very special and beautiful lady, and she was once sick with something called Breast Cancer, but she is alright now. My Mummy was also very good at a sport called Dragonboating, and then she set up a special Dragonboat team in Liverpool called Pool of Life for ladies who have had breast cancer.

Some of the ladies came from a long way away and so they set up their own team called Paddlers For Life near where they live on a big lake called Windermere, and today they had a special day for Chinese New Year.
Everybody made paper boats and wrote special things on them and then we threw flowers on the lake and launched our boats on it.

Karen came with us and Sue and Peter and Jane were there, who are my friends as well.

There was also a big girl called Mae there. She played with me, which was lovely, and now she is my friend as well.
