It's Christmas!!!

I don't really know where to start talking about Christmas. Santa must have emptied out the whole of the North Pole because there were soooooo many presents. It was a very very wonderful and lovely time, and I loved every minute of it.... but now I think I'm going to take a break from my blog so I can do lots and lots of playing!

Party in Rompers

We had our Christmas party in Rompers today.

I got all dressed upin my special Flamenco dress for dancing and I was a realparty girl.

We played games and danced and had lovely party food like cakes.

Today was also very special because Grandma and Martin arrived for Christmas - it's always very lovely to see them, and they brought loads of presents as well.

Christmas Concerts

We had a lovely, lovely day today. This morning my Mummy and Daddy took me for a surprise at the Philharmonic Hall, which was a special concert for Christmas were they sang lots of lovely songs like Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer; but the best part was that they had lots of special people from a kiddies TV show called Milkshake to sing them! There was the Little Princess, Noddy, Rupert, Mr. Bump, Fifi and - best of all - Peppa Pig!!!

After that we went to see V, Beth, Emily and baby Elinor, who live on the same street. It was lovely to see them, actually, and to play with Beth and Emily.

In the afternoon we had a Christmas show in Rompers, and I was the Hannukah Girl and Felix was the Hannukah Boy.

A New Playground

After we took the dogs to our park this morning, we went and had some lunch in a place called Keith's on Lark Lane. After that we went to a new playground in a different park called Sefton Park. It was really good with lots of things to climb on and Mummy and Daddy saw an old friend of theirs called Freddie.

Visiting Grandma

It is Mummy's and Daddy's anniversary tomorrow, and they are going back to Langley Castle where they got married tonight. It is a long, long way away from where we live - which was very boring in the car - but it is close to where Grandma lives (which is in another castle called Newcastle), so the good part is that I get to have a sleep-over at my Grandma's.

When we got there Aunty Hannah was already there, and Grandma's friend Jean arrived soon after - it was really lovely and my Grandma gave me a big dog called Dylan and an even bigger rabbit called Rebecca. After Mummy and Daddy went Uncle Bill and Aunty Lorna came as well and we played some funny games with a lovely money box which they gave me.

The Pack Sleeps

One thing about Lucy - she can be a right royal pain in the neck most of the time, but she does make a pretty good pillow when you've had a hard day and you just need a little nap...

Christmas Tree - Part 3

Today we put silly santa hats on and Daddy used the timer on the camera to take a picture of us in front of our beautiful Christmas tree. We are going to use the picture to send special cards to people on the computer.

Christmas Tree - Part 2

Daddy put the tree up yesterday and then he put the lights on it this morning. In the afternoon he went to watch Liverpool play and Mummy and I put the all the lovely lovely decorations on the tree to make it look really beautiful.

Christmas Tree - Part 1

Yesterday we went to the garden centre to choose our Christmas tree. We looked at lots and lots until we found the right one, which is quite big (but not as big as last year).

Today the man delivered it to our house and it is in the back garden. Soon Daddy will put it in the pot in the conservatory and we will put the lights and decorations on it.

It is very exciting because it's getting closer to Christmas all the time...

Real Holiday

Holidays are supposed to be fun, with lots of places to play and things to climb on, and other kiddies to play with.

This trip to Granada has been very nice, but there are too many old places and stinky bars where everyone smokes, and not enough parks and fairgrounds.

Today was brilliant because Mummy and Daddy took me to a special place for kiddies, which was very kind of them.

There was a big bouncy castle with Mickey Mouse on it, and I had lots of fun climbing up and sliding down and bouncing around it.

After that I went on a roundabout and sat on a beautiful pink shell being pulled by pink seahorses, just like a mermaid.

Nearby there was a playground with other kiddies who were Spanish. There was a big bridge to climb over and I did it all by myself, because I am a big girl.

There was a brilliant swing with a big bowl and lots of kiddies could go in it together and I went in with 3 other girls who were Spanish, but it turns out that everyone laughs in the same language so it didn't matter.

I also went on a bouncy see saw and some other things - it was a lovely day.

Tonight we had to fly home again, but it was also a very special day because I wrote my name today. All by myself, without any help, for the first time. I really am a big girl now.

Alhambra

Mummy's cousin Mick has silver hair like an old man,but he is still lovely.

We all got a bus together to go to a place called Mirador. It was a very little bus because it had to go up very windy, narrow little streets up a very steep hill.

At the top there was a beautiful view across the valley to the Alhambra and then the mountains which are called the Sierra Nevada. They are very high and we could see snow on them, but it was too far to go and play snowballs and build a snowman.

A long time ago Spain was ruled by some people called the Moors who came from Africa, and they built a beautiful palace which is called the Alhambra.

We went there today and Mummy and Daddy liked it, but it was a bit boring really because it is very old and there is nothing to do there like a swimming pool with a water slide - which is what holidays are supposed to have.

Mick's partner Susie came as well, and she is also lovely.

Flamenco!

I love dancing and I so lots of dancing at home - especially when 'Strictly' is on the telly.

In Spain there is a very special dance which is Spanish and which is called the Flamenco but which is not a big pink bird.

The ladies wear very pretty dresses with lots of frilly bits and Mummy's lovely cousin Mick bought me a flamenco dress so I can look gorgeous in it.

Tonight we went to a cafe in town to see some live Flamenco, which is also a music where the men play guitars and sing about how miserable they are because no-one loves them any more.

The music was actually quite good, but the dancing was the best bit. The beautiful lady stamped her heels and swirled her frilly dress and looked very fierce.

She was a little bit scary, but afterwards she was very nice and called me 'guapa'. It was a lovely, lovely evening and Anna and Christie enjoyed it as well even though they had to go outside for a ciggie.

Granada

Mummy's birthday started a long time ago and was really on Wednesday, but yesterday we got a taxi to the airport and got on a plane with Mummy's cousin Mick, his partner Susie, her sister Anna, and her partner Christie.

It was very late when we arrived and we were tired, but today we are in Granada, which is in Spain - Hola!

We had a look around this morning and went in the Cathedral which is very big and beautiful. There was a little shop on the way out and Mummy bought me a lovely angel for my room for Christmas.

There was a funny statue of a man and a donkey and it was a bit scary, but I stood next to it for a photo.

Then we went to have some lunch outside a cafe, and a man came and polished Mummy's boots because they were a bit yucky.

Mummy's Birthday

Today it was finally Mummy's Birthday, which was lovely - I helped her to open her presents and cards this morning before she got up. Daddy had got her some flowers and made her a cake, but it didn't rise so it was a brownie instead, but Mummy said it was a nice brownie, and I liked it.

After nursery Mummy and Daddy and I went to La Bussola, which is near the pet shop, for a special birthday dinner. After that we went to King David's for a special Christmas Fayre and I got a mermaid book and a Jo Jingles DVD. Mummy got some lovely, lovely jewellery.

He's Making a List...

Soon it will be Christmas and Santa will bring lots of presents for all the girls and also some boys, but only the
good ones. It is very exciting!

Santa has a list, which he has to check twice, to see who has been naughty and who has been nice. I have been nice and I hardly ever pick my nose now because Santa won't come.

Today we went to see Santa at Beechley Riding Stables, which us by the park - he isn't usually there, but he flew in especially with his elves to see us, so that I could give him my list of the presents that I would like. Baba Zak was there as well, with Sister and Bryan.

Santa was very nice, and he only eats the gingerbread man - he gave me some sweets as a present until Christmas.

Afterwards we all went for some dinner to Pistachio on Lark Lane.

Mummy's Party

Soon it will be my Mummy's Birthday and we will have cake, but first we went out for a meal with the family. Mummy's birthday is in the middle of the week and it is easier for everyone to go out at the weekend. Next weekend we are going to be in Spain.

Mummy's friend Wendy came and she brought her friend Johnny. I haven't seen them for ages, but they are very nice.

Sister and Bryan were there as well, but they didn't bring Baba Zak because he is too little so he had to stay with his Nan and Grandad, but I am a big girl.

Jenny and Phil and Benny and Davva came as well. I had a drink called Lassi and it gave me a moustache like Daddy which was very funny.

Off to See Grandad

We went down to Audlem today to see my Grandad, but the weather wasn't very nice and we didn't go on his boat either so Daddy didn't take any photos - but, on the way down, he did take a video of me singing in the car. I'm a very good singer and I like this song, and I even know some of the words. I was a bit tired to start with but I had woken up by the end.

Yellow Sub

This morning it took me a while to persuade Daddy to get up because he said it was too early, but then he did get up and we went to the park with the puppies. I took my scooter, but I had to get Mummy to carry me because I was tired.

We went to the Deli for lunch and Sister was there, but we just went home afterwards and Daddy was very sad because he lost his ring from when he got married to Mummy.

It was very sad for Daddy so I wanted to do something special and lovely to cheer me up. Mummy and Daddy took me for a lovely lovely surprise to one of my favourite places.

It is called the "Yellow Submarine" and there are lots of slides and places for kiddies to climb. I love goign on the slides and I even went on the big twirly whirly slide.

Then we had pizza and potato wedges, which are like chips but nicer.

Talulah, Tinkerbell and Pudsey

I had a lovely day today - it was Talulah's birthday, and there was also a pyjama party in Rompers because it's Pudsey Bear's birthday as well.

We had cake and party bags and I got a Tinkerbell crown.

TIA!

Tonight we went to do some martial arts - like Honey and Blaise next door do - and I had to wear some boxing gloves and hit the pad that the lady was holding and shout "TIA!" - I was very good and she fell over.

I wanted to go on the mat and do it with the other kiddies, but I had to do it with my Mummy and Daddy. I would like to go again and do it with the kiddies.

Zoe's Birthday Dinner

Sister's birthday was on Tuesday, but we had to wait until today to go out for dinner to celebrate. Lots of the family were there - Sister and Bryan (but not Zak), Mummy and Daddy (and me!), Grandma, Jenny, Ben and Marky Boy. Davva got stuck on a train so he arrived later and Jenny's Phil turned up near the end.

There aren't many pictures of me because I took most of them - I am very good with the camera now.

Everybody had a lovely time and got even happier as the night went on, but I got a bit too tired and had to have a little sleep on my Daddy.
